This month, we return to one of our earliest Jefferson Club offerings just in time for the cool weather and holiday season to approach. Chateau Ferriere was a treasure for our first guests to try at our Grand Membership Tasting of the 2012 vintage, but this month, we get the chance to see the progress and evolution of this humble estate with their exceptional 2018 vintage. We are happy to present you the Chateau Ferriere 2018 from Margaux.
Just A Taste is extremely pleased to introduce the wines of Pax Mahle to the Missouri market. Pax Mahle has made a name for himself with his esoteric wines and unique bottlings of cool-climate Syrah. Once it was announced his wines were entering Missouri, we snatched as many cases as we could (and selflessly saved a few for our club members)! This month, for the Just A Taste Discover Club, we look to the lesser known neighbor (but no less iconic) of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas. Domaine Raspail-Ay hails from the 7th generation estate of Domaine Raspail. Today, Dominique Ay, alongside his two children, are leading the charge in quality for the small appellation of Gigondas in France’s Southern Rhone Valley.
