ABOUT Compass Box

In 2000, John Glaser, a US transplant in the UK working as a distiller for a large company, had the desire to introduce high quality whiskies to more people. He devised a model that emulated the classic blending houses of Scotland but with a focus on quality over quantity. Two decades later, his thriving blending house is known across the globe for unique, expresses whiskies. Learn more about Compass Box here.

Why I am excited about this Whisky

Hedonism was born out of a desire to express the unique character of Single Grain whiskies. Too often do Single Malts take the limelight; yet, contrary to the point of Single Malts, many whisky enthusiasts prefer rich, opulent characters in their dram. Grains other than barley aged in selectively rich oak profiles can give the bold, lush style whisky aficionados and beginners alike can enjoy.
