ABOUT RUDD

Rudd Estate began in 1996 when Leslie and Susan Rudd purchased land in Napa Valley’s Oakville appellation. Since the beginning they have had a commitment to preserving the land, a philosophy that extends laterally into other business ventures they have in preserving the Oakville grocery and the inception of PRESS, a high-end restaurant in St. Helena with the largest collection of old Napa Valley wines on their list. Today, Leslie and Susan’s daughter, Samantha, runs the estate.

Susan was raised on the estate and has always desired to continue their family’s values. After studying abroad at such renowned estates such as Chateau Margaux, she returned to Rudd Estate and took over operations by 2015. Assisting her as head winemaker is Natalie Bath.

Wine is influenced by its vintage, but great wine will always be a timeless reflection of its place.
