About Mount Eden:
Founded in 1945, Mount Eden is recognized as one of the original "boutique" California wine properties, focusing on small lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Mount Eden's lineage of estate bottled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is the longest in California. In fact, many modern California wineries can trace their budwood for Chardonnay and Pinot back to the original plantings at Mount Eden brought over from Burgundy by Paul Mason in the 1800s.
