This month, we return to one of our earliest Jefferson Club offerings just in time for the cool weather and holiday season to approach. Chateau Ferriere was a treasure for our first guests to try at our Grand Membership Tasting of the 2012 vintage, but this month, we get the chance to see the progress and evolution of this humble estate with their exceptional 2018 vintage. We are happy to present you the Chateau Ferriere 2018 from Margaux.

This month, for Just A Taste’s Jefferson Club, I am excited to feature two wines from Schloss Gobelsburg. First, the Kamptal Renner 1qwt Gruner Veltliner 2016 will be given to the majority of our club members. Members who prefer red wines will receive their delicious St. Laurent Reserve.

June 2019 Heritage Club Wines:

Nothing says summer to me like crisp rose by the water, and nothing is more refreshing than a slightly fizzy Vinho Verde rosato. And even though I generally prefer whites or rose during warmer months, its nice to crack open a bottle of soft, fruity red like unaged Tempranillo.

Alois Lageder has been a pioneer in biodynamics in Italy’s northeastern Alto Adige region. Today, all of their 140 acres are farmed following the philosophy of bio-diversity.
